Shahzad Malik has joins Nixon Peabody from Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth, where he was the chair of the Tax practice group and a partner in the Corporate and Securities practice group.
Shahzad has specialized expertise in tax matters related to large and mid-market transactions. He has significant experience in corporate and fund tax matters such as mergers and acquisitions, private equity fund formations and transactions, and international taxation.
Additionally, Shahzad represents clients in civil and criminal tax controversy matters before the U.S. Tax Court, Franchise Tax Board, and IRS.
