Michael Kelley joins Arent Fox in Washington D.C. as a partner, from Akerman.

Michael focuses his practice on international and U.S. private equity investment funds, mezzanine investment funds, venture capital funds, hedge funds and impact investment funds. Michael has experience structuring social enterprises, micro-financing transactions, venture philanthropy initiatives as well as significant experience in legal finance.

He has formed investment vehicles focused on investing in the United States and in the infrastructure sectors of emerging market economies using on-shore and off-shore structures. He has also advised, written about, and lectured on regulatory, compliance, and governance matters related to the investment funds industry.
